My beloved Mary Blair

It's 1 am in Sunday morning and I still can't sleep !
Today I had such a frustrated day. I couldn't describe what exactly happen and I wouldn't, because It was too desperate to lament about what have already happened......So, I decided to write my blog and talk about Mary Blair, my all-time favorite illustrator.

Who is she? Um.... Have you ever go to "It's a small world" in Disneyland , or see any Disney classic movies like Cinderella, Alice in wanderland or Peter Pan ? Ah ha..... Mary Blair designed their concept art !!

She was an American Artist who work for Walt Disney Company at the begining. She was the one who bring contemperary art into Walt Disney movies and was one of the greatest illustrators that Disney've ever had. Nowadays, Many animations movies get an inspiration from her concept art ("UP", "Ratatouille", Etc).

How she use color and the way she tell the story though pictures present how she look the world like an innocent child who had nothing to fear. It's easy and very simple which make me realize that sometime, this world is not that cruel. Every time I felt down, I always look at her works and I will thanks her for making my life full of happiness again !

I did these sketches about 5-6 months ago. It's one of my project that I wish to create some art collection and public them to the world, like a starter exhibition :)

It's called " The republic of Beast "

" Actually, Animal and human are so similar to each other" Think and chose what kind of person would we like to become........to be a man, or an animal. This is my sketch of the collection. The complete one are on the way..... Please wait and see ok?

งานชิ้นนี้เราเขียนเล่นๆไว้เมื่อ 5-6 เดือนก่อน มันเป็นหนึ่งใน Project นึงที่ Plan ไว้ว่าจะทำให้เสร็จให้ได้ คือการสร้าง Collection งานศิลปะของตัวเองเสมือนกับ Exhibition ส่วนตัวแบบนั้น

มันคือ สาธารณรัฐแห่งเดรัดฉาร มันเป็น idea ที่จู่ๆก็โผล่พรวดมาตอนที่เรากำลังนั่งดูสารคดีสัตว์อยู่ เกี่ยวกับสิงโตในแอฟริกาที่ล่าเหยื่อที่่อ่อนแอกว่า ว่า " เออ จริงๆ แล้วมนุษย์ก้อไม่เห็นแตกต่างกันกับสัตว์เลย"

"แต่เราเลือกได้........ว่าเราจะใช้สัญชาติญาณเอาตัวรอดของเรา หรือว่าเลือกจะเป็นมนุษย์ที่มี่ความคิด จิตสำนึกอย่างผู้เจริญแล้ว"

I'm Back

I admit that I'm kind of person that always get bore in something easily !!! like created a blog, posted and left it like a decade !! HAHA anyone is like me, raise your hand up !

Thanks to my friends that push me to finish my goal of having my own space as I plan to accomplish in year 2009. So here I am !!

Let's ,me introduce myself again

I'm Pinnary and this is my Pen name.
I'm a 24 year old graphic Designer, illustrator and loving to do art in other ways......like teaching
so, this blog will dedicate to my little art works and my projects that will come in the future.


Also, Traveling is one of my dream goal. I love to go out and see the different places, different cultures and see how people in each countries live and react to art and beauty.

ตอนนี้เราอายุ 24 แล้ว ทำงานเป็นกราฟฟิกดีไซน์เนอร์และทำภาพประกอบเป็นความชอบส่วนตัว และก็ยังหลงใหลในโลกของศิลปะและการทำงานด้านการสอนด้วย ถ้ามีโอกาสนะ
Bolg นี้เลยขอทำเพื่อไว้สร้างงานของตัวเองและโครงการต่างๆที่จะมีในอนาคตข้างหน้า

และ เราหลงใหลการท่องเที่ยว เราชอบนะ ที่จะออกไปเห็นโลกข้างนอกที่ไม่เหมือนกับเรา วัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างและที่สำคัญ ไปดูซิว่าผู้คนข้างนอกเค้าใช้ชีวิตกับศิลปะและความงามแตกต่างกับเรายังไง
